Who I am

I'm Louie Valkhof. 29, based in Arnhem. Founder of Oase Creative and Oase.

I've been designing since I was 13. YouTube banners, event flyers, 3D modeling, motion tracking. After studying Graphic Design at Rijn IJssel, I launched my own e-commerce brand. Sold products on Dutch marketplaces. That's where I learned how e-commerce works from the inside: positioning, visual identity, standing out among thousands of sellers.

That brand ended due to personal circumstances. But the network I'd built stayed. Dozens of e-commerce entrepreneurs with the same problem: good product, weak brand. Bad listings, no visual identity, packaging that communicated nothing.

I started helping them. First informally. When it could no longer stay informal, I registered Oase Creative at the Chamber of Commerce. That was in 2020.

Oase Creative

Oase Creative is an e-commerce branding agency. We build brands that sell on bol.com, Amazon and Shopify.

It started with listing design. One service. Clients asked for more: branding, webshops, packaging, product photography. Every expansion was a response to a real request from a real client.

Now: a team of 10. Over 200 brands helped. 176 five-star reviews on Trustpilot. Brands that have grown from first product to millions in revenue. From brand identity to listings, packaging to webshops.

The difference between us and a generic design studio: we come from e-commerce. I ran my own brand. I know what a listing needs to do in the first three seconds. I know why packaging is more than a box. That experience is in every project we deliver.

Oase Software

For six years I worked with eight different tools that didn't talk to each other. ClickUp, Slack, Notion, WhatsApp, Google Forms, Typeform, Google Drive. Every client had to be created in three systems. Every briefing forwarded manually. Hours per week lost to admin.

That's why I started building Oase in 2026. Software for design agencies. One platform: client portal, project management, briefings, time tracking, AI features.

I'm building it with Lam Hoang. We're not building from theory. We're building from six years of frustration with tools that don't deliver. Every bug we find, we find while working for a real client. Every feature we ship, we test in production the same day.

The goal: 1,000 users in 2026. We are our own first customer. If it works for us, it works for other agencies.

Why this site

This is not a portfolio or a sales funnel. This is where I write about what I build.
